Jin Jong-Oh is the only competitor to win four individual gold medals and the only one to win the same event at three consecutive Games (the 50m pistol from 2008 to 2016.

Rhode is the only woman to win three golds and has won medals in at five consecutive games. Rhode, Niccolo Campriani (Italy) in 2012 and 2016, and Ralf Schumann (Ger) ( in 1992,1996 and 2004) are the only ones to win three individual golds.
