World Hall of Fame 1906

Blanche Bingley (later Hillyard) (Great Britain – Tennis): Played 27 times at Wimbledon and won the singles six times between 1886 and 1900. Also won three doubles titles.

Myer Prinstein (USA- Athletics): won gold medals at the Olympics in 1900 and 1904 (at Triple jump) and in 1904 and 1906 for Long Jump. He also set two world records at Long Jump.

Josef Steinbach(Austria- Weightlifting): Won three world titles in 1904 and 1905. Then won Olympic gold at the intercalated Games in 1906. He set 35 world records.

Francesco Verri (Italy – Cycling): Won three gold medals at the 1906 intercalated Olympic Games (at sprint, time trial and 5000m)
